Brett A. Pfeffer

Brett Pfeffer, PE, joined Wandling Engineering in 2025 with nearly 20 years’ experience as a mechanical design engineer in the aerospace gas turbine industry.  He holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering and a M.Engr in Systems Engineering from Iowa State University.  Mr. Pfeffer has a strong background in CAD, GD&T, finite element analysis (thermal, structural & vibration), vibration testing, fatigue and fracture mechanics, welding and brazing of aerospace materials, additive manufacturing, and failure investigations.  During his time in the aerospace industry, he was also a Designated Engineering Representative (DER) for the FAA and is familiar with Title 14 of the United States Code of Federal Regulations.
