Scott Salsbery joined Wandling Engineering in the fall of 2021 and has over eight years of industry experience in addition to postgraduate ventures in academia. He worked for John Deere Power Systems as a Product Engineer for engine components and subsystems. He has B.S. and M.S. degrees from the University of Iowa in Mechanical Engineering. As a postgraduate he gained experience in combustion systems for steam production applications and propulsion. From John Deere and post-graduate studies he brings his expertise in 3D modeling and numerical model development; cast, formed and fabricated metal design; design analysis, geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) and tolerance stack analysis; component and subsystem testing and simulation; and optimization methods.
