Dr. Lynch Guest Lectures at Iowa State University

On April 4th, Dr. Alan Lynch was invited to guest lecture a Mechanical Engineering class at Iowa State University.  The Vehicle Dynamics course has been studying braking systems and brake design.  Dr. Lynch’s lecture discussed the scientific method, its application to reconstructing motor vehicle accidents, as well as a method for estimating vehicle speed based on tire marks.  Dr. Lynch is certified to reconstruct accidents through the Accreditation Commission for Traffic Accident Reconstruction (ACTAR).
