Thomas J. Friedrichsen, P.E., C.F.E.I.
Mr. Friedrichsen is a senior engineer with over 30 years affiliation with Wandling Engineering. He holds a B.S. and M.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Iowa State University.
His focus is the evaluation of the design of machine components, machine system, and machines including construction and farm equipment, appliances, tools, manufacturing machines and equipment, and miscellaneous machines and devices. He has conducted hazard analysis, safety studies and has evaluated guarding on various machines and equipment. Other areas include fires and explosions, the evaluation of gas systems, reconstructing traffic accidents, and analyzing other accidents.
