Robert M. Ridpath

Mr. Ridpath is a technical specialist with Wandling Engineering who joined the company after completing his Associate’s Degree from Des Moines Area Community College.  He is currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Technology in the Department of Agricultural and Biosystems Engineering.

Mr. Ridpath’s academic background focused on the examination of the causes and behavior of fire and the means of minimizing its destructive effects through design, detection, suppression, and prevention.  His current program emphasizes the development, coordination, and evaluation of safety issues relating to people, materials, equipment, methods, and environment.  He is an effective member of the laboratory team, assisting engineers with data collection and evaluation.

B.S. expected May of 2012.  Iowa State University, Ames, Iowa. Industrial Technology with specialization in Occupational Safety.

A.S. Des Moines Area Community College, Ankeny, Iowa 2009.  Fire Science Technology.
